Job Description Summary

The Team Leader will supervise and coordinate activities of staff and work-studies engaged in copying (monochrome, color and large format), stationary, business cards, paper orders, binding and other related services. Assemble and recommend pricing for special and high volume orders. Develop marketing materials to advertise the capabilities of the Mail & Copy Center. Maintain the inventories of the various paper stocks and order as necessary to insure adequate supplies for the daily operation of the Copy Center and meet needs of various departments on campus. Reports to the Coordinator 2.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including MS Publisher.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and problem solve.
• Intermediate understanding of HTML, Javascript and web programming.
• Basic understanding of computer programming language such as C++.
• Proficient knowledge of basic arithmetic and making simple arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Good knowledge of mail room practices and procedures, including operation of such equipment as stamp machine, scales, or metering machine.
• Knowledge of proper telephone usage.
• Typing skills of twenty to forty five (25-45) wpm.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to exercise important human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with the university community.

Physical Demands

• May be required to lift, push or pull up to 60 1bs.
• May be required to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to walk the campus in all weather conditions.
• Ability to ascend/descend stairs.
• Ability to communicate on the phone and in person.
• Ability to do keyboard entry, including use of a keypad and manipulating a mouse.
• May be exposed to chemical, mechanical, or electrical hazards.
• May be exposed to dusts, fumes, or odoriferous working conditions

Essential Duties

• Prioritize and coordinate all incoming copy requirements to ensure jobs are completed as promised.
• Maintains MCS website and social media marketing.
• Provide customer service.
• Maintain the item and pricing data base of the Mail & Copy point-of-sale system.
• Operates high speed digital printers and calibrates and color manages digital press.
• Work with new and existing work-studies to continue developing methods to market the services of the Mail & Copy Center the University community (students, faculty and staff).
• Work with the Xerox personnel to insure all equipment is operating at optimum levels of service.
• Programs and maintains variable data projects for other departments as needed.
