Webster University, St. Petersburg/Tampa Metro Campus

Webster University seeks adjunct faculty to teach graduate level-courses at the St. Petersburg/Tampa Metro Campus. Candidate must have an advanced degree with relevant teaching and professional experience. Potential Teaching opportunities are available in the area of:

• Project Management (Courses assigned may include Introduction to Project Management, Advances in Project Management, and Project Procurement Management )

Classes are taught on site, one day a week (Monday-Thursday) during evening hours (5:30PM – 9:30PM) for nine week terms.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business-related discipline with at least 6 hours of graduate coursework in project management and/or procurement/contract management (depending on course requirements)
• 3 years of experience teaching adults at the college level
• Interdisciplinary base of knowledge
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Applicant must be willing to support the mission and core values of Webster University and enhance excellence in teaching at the St. Petersburg/Tampa Campus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral in Business with an emphasis in project management, procurement/contract management, and/or supply chain management
• 5 years of experience leading projects or experience in procurement/project management
PMP certification preferred.

Essential Duties

Adjunct faculty teach one to two courses per semester on-site or online. On-site graduate level classes typically meet one evening per week for nine weeks from 5:30pm-9:30pm.
