Position Summary Information

Location St. Louis/Webster Groves, MO
Job Description Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, Online Student Admission, team member will respond to new fully online undergraduate and graduate student inquiries providing information and counseling with regard to Webster University online programs with the goal of matriculating students. This team will be coordinated to work normal business hours as well as evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Prior experience recruitment experience that includes direct contact with prospective students and effectively conveying attributes of the university including its programs, policies, procedures, and services
• Knowledge of University admission guidelines, standards, procedures, and higher education admissions in general

Physical requirements are typical of an office environment.
Occasional travel (local and non-local) may be required.

Essential Duties

• Basic knowledge of financial aid programs including deadlines and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service focused communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Flexible schedule to include some evenings and weekends
• Ability to work well individually and in a team enviromnent
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume enviromnent
• Attention to detail
• Technical ability to learn and use various systems
• Knowledge of office technology including Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, and Outlook
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, a plus
• Ability to develop effective working relationship with other university departments
• Experience working with diverse groups from a variety of cultural, socioeconomic, and international
